Today's tournament No. 4 at Bob's Fishing Hole was a resounding success, largely because of the 28 men and women anglers who showed up; Ronnie McLaughlin, who weighed the fish; and the staff at Bob's.
Money winners today were Roger Armentrout, who took 1st place with a 5.49-lb. bass, and Paul Celentano, who took 2nd place with a 3.80-lb. bass. Others who weighed fish finished as follows: John Goodman, 3rd place, 1.93 lbs.; J. P. Scott, 4th place, 1.64 lbs., Greg Dick, 5th place, 1.59 lbs., Eddie Sapp, 6th place, 1.49 lbs.; Tyler McNair, 7th place, 1.48 lbs.; Richard Woods, 8th place, 1.39 lbs.; Jim Sumrell, 9th place, 1.32 lbs.; Sid Ryan, 10th place, .98 lbs.; and Kevin Love, 11th place, .95 lbs.
The remaining participants included Curtis Bailey, Henry Boyd, Cathy Brandt, Shawn Dunlap, Chris Fretard, John Gillis, Mike Gish, Dave Hales, Chandler McLaughlin, Ronnie McLaughlin, Mike Miller, Al Napier, Chris Napier, Chris Pike, Brian Skeens, Robert Stamey, and Clint Vanmarter.
