Results of Jan. 5, 2013 Northwest Tourney

"Five boats duked it out today on the Northwest." That's how John Goodman described the tourney that launched out of Bob's this morning. He went on to note that the fish must have been afraid of him, since not one chose to bite all day.

The winner of today's contest was Brian Skeens, a member of the Stateline Bass Anglers. Brian weighed two small fish that tipped the scales at 2.61 lbs. He described it as a "tough day with cold and muddy water."

Congrats to Brian on the win and to the other anglers for giving it the "old college try" on a day when most fishermen evidently cherished some things more than chasing what proved to be a rather elusive bass population.
