Getting Back Into Bass Fishing Again

Had been wondering what had happened to my kayak buddy, Ron, and now I know. He's been spending all his spare time chasing snakeheads and saltwater species. However, he has decided to get back into the bass-fishing game, as evidenced by the accompanying photos.

In the report that was in my inbox early this morning, Ron explained that he had been out and caught a half-dozen mid-teens bass on a SwimSenko before it started getting dark. He then tied on a Pop Frog topwater bait and landed a nice one to end the evening.

"Should have brought my headlamp and scale," said Ron, who evidently had to deal with a little more darkness than what he was prepared for.
