If Only One, Make It a Good One

That philosophy served Ron well tonight on his trip to No Name Creek. After spending two hours there with nothing to show for it but a few misses, he enticed the nice 3-lb. 4-oz. bass pictured here to hit his Whopper Plopper.

"If one fish saves a skunk, it sure helps that it's a nice one," said Ron.

Incidentally, Ron acknowledged that he made a mistake in his report last night, when he described a 19-inch striper as a non-keeper. He was thinking about the 20-inch limit on the Bay when he made that statement. "My bad... would have been tasty," is how he described his regrets.
