For the unprecedented fourth time in seven tournaments so far this 2012 season, we had 20 or more participants, which guaranteed a payday for the top three places. We launched a total of 21 anglers today in 13 boats.
Capturing first place in today's competition was the team of Chris and Al Napier, who weighed a bag of five bass that tipped the scales at 16.55 lbs. Second place went to the team of Bobby Moore and J. P. Twohig, who also weighed five fish, with a total weight of 11.62 lbs. Rounding out the money winners in third place was the team of Eddie Sapp and Paul Celentano, with five fish weighing 9.89 lbs.

Those 14 anglers in nine boats who participated in the weigh-in accounted for a total of 41 bass with a combined total weight of 77.04 lbs.
Other anglers besides the three winning teams who weighed big fish included Gary Coderre/2.76-lb. bass, the team of John Matyiko and Mark Cable/2.74-lb. bass, Mike Evans/2.24-lb. bass, Ken Testorff/2.02-lb. bass, the team of Bob Glass and Randy Conkle/1.80-lb. bass, and Jim Bauer/1.46-lb. bass.
With today's tournament, a total of 16 anglers have qualified to fish our season-ending two-day Classic on Oct. 13-14. The list includes Gary Coderre, Steve Bailey, Eddie Sapp, Paul Celentano, Bob Glass, Randy Conkle, Jim Bauer, J. P. Twohig, Al Napier, Skip Schaible, Chris Napier, Joe McDevitt, John Matyiko, Mark Cable, Bobby Moore, and Ken Testorff.
For planning purposes, our next tourney is scheduled for Saturday, June 23. Start time will be safe light (or approximately 0600). Weigh-in time will be at 1400.
