Today's 15th Annual Steve Gambill Cancer Classic Another Success Story

With the Cancer Classic always taking place out of West Landing Marina, you always have a front-row seat for all kinds of traffic on the Intracoastal Waterway, as evidenced by this somewhat unique craft that happened by this morning.

Sean Vitovich (left) and his dad, Chris, pause for my camera lens this morning before the pace of everything shifted into high gear.

Two young fellas I'm pretty sure are brothers got comfortable on the catwalk beside the launch ramp this morning for a little fishing.

This "feeding time" scene occurs all up and down the Intracoastal Waterway.

Among things given away during the raffle today was what you see here...

here...

                                       and here.

The weigh-in area always gets busy...

and draws a few oohs and ahs with fish like this.

And what would such a gathering be like without a little music?

Chris always remembers all those helpers who support him in this yearly endeavor.

No Cancer Classic ever is complete without a photo of the organizers and all the trophy winners from the fishing tournament.

And just for good measure, the young lady in this photo broke a few dance moves to the music playing as festivities were breaking up, and I couldn't resist snapping a couple shots of her in action.
