I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but late this afternoon, I learned that the fire marshal had inspected the West Neck Marina premises today. One of the things he did while on the scene was to go around disconnecting all drop cords he saw. According to Steve, he was told by the fire marshal that he will have to upgrade West Neck with all marine-grade wiring. At the moment, there's no way of knowing how long this project will take. However, if you are a tenant and have been powering battery chargers and/or any other equipment with drop cords, be advised you undoubtedly now are without power.
